TechnoLogix Decision Sciences Inc., a leading provider of supply chain optimization and routing solutions announced today that the Grupo Danone de Mexico has chosen TechnoLogix to design, develop and implement a continuous replenishment and routing optimization system.
The Groupe Danone is one of the major international corporations in the food industry, with major brands in the fresh dairy products, packaged beverages and cereal biscuits and snacks, including Dannon, Danone and Evian.
The fresh dairy products division in Mexico operates from two manufacturing facilities. The product line includes over 120 sku´s and its national distribution network is composed of 3 main distribution centers and 30 local depots.
TechnoLogix´s customized continuous replenishment system will address a number of issues and decisions, including the forecast of daily shipments, the matching of available inventory to requirements, the efficient composition of loads and their optimal schedule and routing based on dynamic time windows and dispatch capacity.
